1. What it is and how it works
The Mountain Maps Ambassador PRO program enables individuals and organizations active in the outdoor and mountain world to earn money by promoting the Mountain Maps app.
The program is ideal for content creators, hospitality businesses, mountain associations, and many others.
1.1 What you earn as an Ambassador PRO
As an Ambassador PRO, you’ll receive a personal referral code to share with your community. Your earnings will depend on how actively your community engages with the app. Specifically:
- Earn €0.30 gross for every user who registers and adds your code to their profile within 7 days of signing up.
- Earn 20% gross on every Premium plan purchased in-app by users who registered with your code. The purchase must be made within 60 days of registration.
- For example, if the annual plan costs €24.99, you’ll earn €5 gross.
- Get 1 month of free Premium access for yourself.
You can find your Ambassador code in the Profile section of the app.
1.2 What your community gets
Everyone who signs up using your code will receive 1 week of free Premium access.
You’ll also be providing them with a reliable, helpful tool for their mountain adventures.
1.3 What you’ll need to do
Your role is to promote the Mountain Maps app in the way that best suits your community.
Once your application is accepted, you’ll receive a Playbook with tips on how to effectively promote the app.
There are no specific requirements or minimum content commitments: you choose how, when, and what to publish. Of course, the better you promote the app, the more you can earn.
1.4 How to become an Ambassador PRO
- Apply to the Ambassador PRO program through the form available in the Profile section of the app.
- Within 7 days, you’ll receive a response regarding your application. If approved, you’ll officially become an Ambassador PRO and receive a Playbook to help you get started.
- Start promoting Mountain Maps and don’t forget to share your Ambassador code!
- Your earnings will be paid out every quarter.
